This is the view across the street from our building, that funny little building is our subway station. The only parking is along the streets and it is a PAIN to find parking!

One of our lovely neighborhood grocery stores. This one is actually the largest and has the best selection, though you really have to search for things. They are very tight on space so they put things in creative places (it's like playing hide and seek).

This is Bravo and is actually my favorite local Grocery Store. It is actually more ghetto than Key Foods. It is very tiny and you REALLY have to search for things. The prices are always really good, the produce (though not always the best quality) is quite inexpensive, and the people working there are always friendly, helpful, and nice.

Washington Heights, where we live!

Our local NYPD out in force!

This is Broadway, our main street. The store is Crystal Party favors. In our neighborhood I also have a Market, and a laundromat.

This is Bennett, the road our apartment is on. Since the trees have gotten leaves it has turned into a very nice road, almost a covered walkway with the huge old trees. There is a Jewish school and synagogue just across from our building. It is a nice quiet road and we are very grateful to live on it.

Just behind our building is a huge hill. They had to get creative to build the apartment buildings on it. Anything you have to do to use the space, there just isn't enough of it on an island like Manhattan!

NO PARKING AVAILABLE EVER!
