Vacation at Charlottesville

We had a rather sudden opportunity to take a family vacation to Charlottesville. A member of our ward offered a Time Share that his parents weren't going to be able to make it to, to us at a really good deal. So we went to a resort near Charlottesville and had a really great family vacation! We got to stay at a cabin right on a lake. It was beautiful!

The view from our front porch.

There was a cute playground with a little play cabin where Mariah had a great time playing.
The resort had a kiddie pool, which Mariah thoroughly enjoyed!

Steven helped Mariah learn to play put-put golf on a fun mini-golf course.

We took a ride on a paddle boat from the marina.
Mariah got to ride a pony! She was so good! We tried to go the day before, but they weren't giving rides. We tried to go pet the horses and she wouldn't go near them because they were stinky. It was a good thing they weren't as stinky the next morning when she got to ride them!
We also got to play games down at the lodge. It was such a fun place to stay!
